FC United #14

Yesterday we went to Herriman to watch my nephew play in a soccer tournament. He did a great job, even if they didn't win, and it was really fun to see him play. You're awesome, Cole!

Watermark

As many of you know, I am in the process of starting a photography business. It is still in the infant stage, but I am working everyday at improving my skills, learning the ins and outs of the photography biz, and building my portfolio. One of the things I have learned is how important it is to protect your work, whether it be for business or fun. So from now on, I will be using a watermark on most of my photos that I post on this blog, and soon I will be starting a new blog dedicated to my photography, so watch for that too! As always, I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Thanks!

Scratchy dress

When I got "Princess" ready for church yesterday, she told me that her dress was scratchy on the inside and she didn't want to wear it. Well, being the mean mom that I am, I made her wear it anyway. When we got home she told me she never wants to wear it again. So I took her out and got some pictures just in case she really never wears it again.

Rain dance!

The girls heard the "plunk plunk" of the rain and immediately wanted to go outside and play. They were out there for about 1/2 hour, and then the rain stopped and they wanted to come in and get dry. I guess being wet is only fun while you're getting that way...not after. While they were playing, their squeals of delight could be heard throughout the neighborhood, so I know they were having a blast!

So disappointed!

Not only does this picture make me not want to see the movie, it makes me sad. The "Twilight" series is a great group of books, that I loved reading. The character of Edward was written to be more gorgeous, more incredible than any other man in the world. Ms. Meyers was able to capture his beauty in her words, and truly made the reader want to fall in love.

Then along comes Robert Pattinson and some idiot casting person, and the movie that could have been so great, will never be. Don't get me wrong...he was great as Diggory in Harry Potter, but he just IS NOT Edward Cullen. And this picture....YUCK! I already thought he wasn't good looking enough for the part. Add the horrible vampire make-up and the "I'm trying to look seductive but I'm not able to pull it off" look on his face and......Wow, I just can't even describe my disappointment.
