Ouch!!!

While doing some shopping at Target today, I removed a box from a shelf, and the metal scooter that was inside came sliding out the end of the box and came crashing down onto poor "Beanie's" head. At first I thought that it just scared her, until I saw the blood. An employee rushed to her side to see if she was okay, and asked if I would like to file an accident report. I figured I'd better, since I wasn't sure if I was going to have to take her to get stitches or not. The employees were incredibly helpful, and asked "Beanie" if she wanted some popcorn or a soda. They got us some wet paper towels so that I could clean it off and see how bad it was, and filled out the accident report. They also took several pictures of the cut, making sure to let me know that none of the pictures showed her face at all. We cleaned off the cut, and saw that it really wasn't all that bad once the bleeding stopped, and Emma was talking and seemed fine, so we went home.

I guess it's true when people say that scooters are dangerous. I just didn't think that I needed to worry about her wearing a helmet when BUYING one!
