Happy Birthday, Buddha!!!!

How is it possible that my Boo is 9 years old???? He has grown up so fast, it's unbelievable!

I wish that I could explain just how incredible this guy is, but it's just not possible. You have to meet him to fully understand what a special little boy he really is. He has the most tender, sweet spirit I have ever known, and the biggest heart to go with it. He is the most helpful, kind and patient son and brother our family could ever as for. His sisters and brother are so blessed to have him in their lives. His Dad and I continually marvel at how we got so lucky to have him.

This cute boy is also so talented. He has an imagination like you wouldn't believe, and he writes incredible stories, complete with illustrations. He has also become quite the awesome little actor, and is loving being in A Christmas Carol again this year. He has also taken an interest in basketball and is getting so good! He loves taking his ball to school and getting as much practice in as he can. One thing that I love about him is that no matter what new thing he tries, he goes at it full speed ahead and has a lot of fun doing it.

"Buddha" is such a smart boy, too. He reads so well (nearly 3 grade levels above his class) and is getting to be a really awesome speller, and great at math. His teacher told me at Parent/Teacher conferences that she wishes I could clone a few more of him because it would make her job so much easier!

If you are someone who already knows "Buddha", consider yourself extremely fortunate. If you ever get a chance to meet him, make sure there's extra space in your heart, because I guarantee you'll want him to stay.
