Remembering Grandpa

I'm finally catching up on blogging! Wahoo! It's taking me twice as long to type this though, since my left hand is nearly unusable right now. I have some sort of pinched nerve in my neck and it's basically just killing my arm.

So anyway, the 23rd was the anniversary of my Dad's passing, so we gathered at the cemetery to remember him, and then went to lunch at one of his favorite restaurants. The kids wrote messages to Grandpa on balloons and then let them go up into the sky.

Poor sweet "Buddha" was really taking it hard. He is so tenderhearted and misses his Grandpa so much.

Until next time... Jami

Your pictures are so sweet, and even just the idea of releasing the balloons into the sky makes me teary. I would have been a wreck.

PS, got the pics and the disk, and thanks for the little something extra!

The baloons really do help...but they make my kids cry to! Every so often they ask to do it just to say hello to their papa. I love the picture of your kids getting ready to release their ballons! Very SWEET!!
