Theater miscellaneous

We finally got to see David in Treasure Island last week, and it was so great! He is only on stage for a very short time and then he dies, but when he is on stage he is captivating! He really is just so great! And everyone else in the show is very good too. When she woke up this morning, "Princess" said to me "You know what, Mom? Treasure Island was AWESOME!" (It's been a week since we saw it....and she's still excited!)

Here's a picture from rehearsals.....there was one of him in costume in the Ogden Standard Examiner, but I don't have that one right now. But you can tell from this picture just how scary and into his role he is!


In other theater news, I just found out that 4-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald and this year's Tony Award nominee Will Swenson are going to be coming to Utah in 2010 to perform at the Hale Center Theater in Orem!!!! Seriously....do you understand how awesome this is????? I just can't stand it! I will have to start saving my pennies! There's a full article about it HERE.
