This kid is so awesome! We were out running errands today and on the way home he said "I hope Ethan didn't come over to play while I was gone!" The rest of the drive he worried that he may have missed his friend coming over and talked about how he wished our doorbell could tell him if someone had rung it while we were gone.
He then came up with a new invention that he wants to create. It's a device that you can put on your doorbell and if someone rings it, a small light inside your house will blink until someone switches it off. That way you'll know if someone rang your doorbell while you were gone.
This is the kid who wants to be a video game designer when he grows up.....yep, he's got all sorts of fun ideas swimming around in that cute head!!!

This post reminded me of the doorbell scene on Ferris Bueller's:
