Happenings around our house today & a Giveaway!

So, "Munchkin"....it's not enough that you look like a little girl with your crazy hair that seriously needs to be cut? Now you have to carry a purse too?

I got a call this morning from "Buddha" at school saying that he had run into another kid and got hurt by his eye. He wanted to come home, so we went and picked him up. He said he was really dizzy when it happened, and now he's just resting on the couch. His glasses actually did the most damage to his face, and I'm sure he'll have quite the black eye tomorrow.

The "man in brown" came today and brought me my much anticipated temple picture!!! This is a picture of the Salt Lake Temple that I took last year, but I have been waiting to print it out until I knew exactly what I wanted. It turned out A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! It's on a 3/4 inch standout-mount, so it's ready to be hung without a frame, and it just looks so fantastic!

But I love it so much that I'm wishing I had gone with a larger size, since this is only an 8x10. Sooooooo, I've decided that I'm going to give this one away!!!! Leave a comment here on my blog, and on Sunday I will pick a random winner! You don't have to be LDS to enter (I know a lot of non-LDS people who think that our temples are absolutely gorgeous buildings). All I ask is that if you do enter, you do so because you really want this picture, and not just for the sake of entering yet another contest. (Only because it is special to me and I want you to enjoy it!)

So that's it! Tell anyone you would like, and have them enter too! (Then talk them into giving the picture to you if they win! LOL!) Just leave me a comment!!!

Until next time... Jami

I hope that I can continue to learn more about photography from you because you're amazing!! That picture of the temple is GORGEOUS and Eric and I would love to have it hanging in our house! We've been looking for a great picture of the SLC temple, since that's where we were married and that one is beautiful. So...I'm leaving a comment so hopefully I can win it. Please give Buddha a big hug from me, poor little thing. Oh and by the way, your new website is awesome!!! We miss you guys!!!
Much love,

Jami,
I have been a pea member for a little while now and I don't normally enter to win anything on the board but I saw you were giving away a picture of the SLC Temple and I thought I would give it a shot. The picture is amazing. This temple will always hold a special place in my heart. My parents took us to Salt Lake City to visit a missionary couple that was in our ward for a while when we were little kids. We all went to see the SLC Temple one evening. Although I have been to many other temples Salt Lake has always been my favorite. This temple brings back fond memories of that wonderful missionary couple and the amazing time we spent on that vacation in Salt Lake.

I wish the "man in brown" had brought me something so gorgeous today. Instead I got an empty box in which I have to mail back my DVR. I don't know if I can do it. (Even though it's doing me no good w/o service, ha ha.) Your picture is amazing. You are so incredibly talented. Oh and I love Munchkin's purse! What a cutie. And poor Buddah. I hope he's okay.

I would love that picture in our home! Galen and I were sealed there almost 10yrs (in August) ago. I still can't believe it has been that long ago. Also that was when we first met! Weird. And then to think that when we were on our honeymoon was when the hurricane came through downtown. We were one of the last couples to have our pics taken by the famous tree!
